Day 1: Marrakesh to Dades Valley
Marrakesh is a land filled with an array of interesting tourist hotspots including the Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou. Once you get across the High Atlas of Morocco, the Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou would be your next destination. You are most welcome to discover the beautiful landscapes in this village through an hour walking tour. This particular village can be found on the southern slopes of the High Atlas. More precisely, it is located in the foothill area. The site of Aït-Ben-Haddou is located in the Province of Ouarzazate and it is the most popular one in the Ounila Valley. Being home to the grouping of dwellings, you can see the touch of southern Moroccan architecture. In addition to the houses surrounded by the defensive walls, you shall also find some community areas. It would be a great place for you to have your lunch before you head to Dades Valles known as the valley of 1000 Kasbahs to spend the night in a fantastic way.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi
In the next morning, make sure that you start the new day with a nice and delicious breakfast accompanied by the fresh air of the village. Once you have a full stomach, you can continue your trip and head to Merzouga. After crossing the Boumalne Dades, you can visit another great tourist site in Morocco known as the Todra Gorge. Located on the east side of the High Atlas Mountains, this place is very famous for its canyons. The great view of the canyon has made one of the most spectacular ones on the planet. While you are on the road, make sure that you stop for lunch and feast your eyes with the unique irrigation system. Once you reach Merzouga, camel riding is a must-do attraction as it is one of the most exciting activities for tourists. Along the camel trek, you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets and some other great views. If you like to have an unforgettable visit, spending the night in the camp would be the best option.
Day 3: Merzouga to Fez
Make sure that you wake up before the sunrise and climb the sand dunes with your camera. This place offers great spots for beautiful pictures. Before you visit Fez, you can conveniently take a shower and breakfast in your hotel. The trip to Fez is a pretty long journey, make sure that you spot great sites like Erfoud, the Ziz Valley and Midlet along the trip. Midlet is a perfect spot for you to have your lunch before continuing your journey. Once you arrive at Azrou, you shall have great opportunities to capture the monkey troupes and the cedar forest. Before you actually reach Fez, you shouldn’t miss Ifrane. It is a great location to capture the beauty of this place
